Welcome
The Geoffrey A. Jones Library provides students with
information essential for the lifelong, independent learner and reader.
The student-centered program teaches how to acquire and use information and
ideas, as well as the skills needed for creating presentations, papers, and
projects. Print resources such as books, magazines, and newspapers,
along with online sources, such as full-text databases, and the internet are
readily available. Scanners, a color laser printer, and a coin-operated
photocopier enhance the program. The Library web page provides home
access to many electronic resources to our staff and students.
The library is named after Geoffrey A. Jones who generously and expertly
served as Principal of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and
Technology for twelve years.
