Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday       7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

JLC Thursdays : Library opened by parent volunteers about 8:00 a.m.
Late bus days - 4:00pm to 6:30 depending on parent volunteers

Students visiting the library without a teacher should sign in
at the circulation desk.
 

Circulation

  • Student library cards are kept at the circulation desk.
  • Books are checked out for five weeks.  The date due is stamped on the inside back cover of each book.
  • Reference books may be checked out after school for overnight use and must be returned before school begins the next school day.
  • Students with overdue books may not check out other materials until their obligations are cleared.  Overdue notices are distributed by first block teachers.
  • Magazines do not circulate.

Computer Use

Library computers provide access to the school library catalog,
purchased electronic databases, the internet, email, the FCPL
catalog, and word processing.  Two scanners are available for
school-related projects.

Printing
Students are limited to one copy of an educational document of
ten pages or fewer. There is a charge of ten cents (.10) per page if the limit is exceeded. Long documents should be saved to a disk or jump drive and printed elsewhere.
Color printing is available for fifty cents (.50) per page. 

Copier

A coin-operated copier is available.  Copies are ten cents each.
 

Eighth Period

Eighth Period library use is for quiet individual (not group) research, reading, or class-related computer use.  Students may sign up to use the library via the 8th period computer registration program.
