phase I

Ask a Question that...
  • connects science, math and/or technology to the needs of our world,
  • is relevant across the curriculum and in 8th period activities,
  • challenges TJ learners,
  • is brief,
  • is open-ended,
  • shows originality.
Before writing your question, you should read the 4 TJ core skills and values on the CIRPSICSR page. You will also be asked to add up to three sentences to clarify how your question meets these criteria. The winning question should lead to study, research, activities, and discussions which reflect the CIRPSICSR skills and values.

Submit your question via Intranet by March 2 at 8:30 A.M.. (Submission is only open to students in the classes of 2011, 2012, and 2013.)

You will be notified if your Question is one of the top 5 questions chosen. You will then be asked to resubmit it with a narrative rationale. The school community will vote on those final 5 Questions. (See Phase Two)
