Vision would be considered by most to be the most important sense, and for humans, it probably is. We rely on vision more than any other sense. However, some animals do quite well with poor vision, using other enhanced senses instead. In any case, though many of us do not realize, every time we look around us, our eyes are contantly at work to provide us with the sight which we take for granted. The sense of sight is probably the most complex, and most researched, of the seven senses.
