WHAT is tjSTAR?
tjSTAR is a research symposium held annually at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Designed to enrich student learning and interest, this day-long, school-wide event of presentations, discussions, demonstrations, and interactive learning opportunities is intended to facilitate the sharing of student research projects, explore future research options, and discuss the research aspects of potential careers.

HOW can external organizations participate?
tjSTAR is a fantastic opportunity to share professional expertise and interact with the future leaders in the STEM fields. During a choice of presentation blocks that last from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, share your experiences as a speaker or a panelist, or demonstrate current research projects or products in our exhibition hall. Become a sponsor of various levels by completing a donor form and establishing a presence throughout our programming.
